FE McDaniel is an American producer, director, author and illustrator. Born and raised in the upper midwest, he is known for creating engaging and entertaining stories that blend insight and humor in order to convey important life lessons.

He feels strongly about the importance of reading to children before bed and the impact it has on their growth and development. His own journey began when his daughter, like most children her age, was having difficulty falling asleep. After trying everything they could think of, one evening she looked up at him and said, "Daddy, tell me a story." It became a cherished family tradition and the source of countless precious memories. ​He now enjoys providing source material for parents.
